GENERAL ELECTION

EARLY VOTING AND ELECTION DAY VOTING TO BE HELD AT THE ELLIS COUNTY JOINT ELECTION POLLING PLACES

• The first day to file an application for a place on the Pecan Hill General Election ballot for Council Places 3, 4 and 5 is January 15th, 2025. The last day to file an application for a place on the General Election ballot is February 14th, 2025.
• The last day to file as a write-in candidate is February 18th, 2025.
• The filing requirements / qualifications to serve on the Pecan Hill City Council are per state statute and are available at https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/candidates/index.shtml. To find the closest polling place, go to https://www.co.ellis.tx.us/629/Upcoming-Elections
