This is the citizen’s opportunity to make a presentation, ask questions of the City Council, or otherwise be heard at the City Council Meeting.  No action will be taken on any matter raised by a citizen, but items  suggested for action may be placed on the agenda of a future meeting.  Due to the numerous agenda items and limited time for the Council Meeting, each citizen’s comments are limited to a total of three minutes.

Action Items

 

5. Consider and swear in Kenneth Lowe to replace Ellen Hardin Place 5 on the City Council.

 

6.             Consider and take possible action on approving the updated Building Code Fees Appendix A (ARTICLE A3.000 BUILDING   RELATED FEES.)

 

 

7.            Consider and take possible action on updating the Zoning Ordinance regarding accessory buildings and accessory building uses and specifically prohibit accessory buildings from being used as living quarters.

 

8.           Consider and take possible action on updating the Zoning Ordinance regarding the number of living quarters that is allowed on a property.

 

9.  Consider and take possible action on the Waste Connections contract.

 

 

10.      Consider and take possible action on wage increases for the staff.

 

11.       Consider and act on re-scheduling our September Council meeting to September 13, 2022, for the second planning and budget meeting and to adopt the tax rate.

 

12. Consider and take possible action on additional road repairs to Randy Rd., Brian Place, Becky Lane and Glenbrook.

 

13. Discussion on original workorder for Carol Ln, Rockett Ln and Burkett.

 

14.      Marshal Smith monthly report.

 

 

Budget and Tax Rate Workshop I

 

1. Council will review and discuss the Fiscal 2022-2023 Annual Operating Budget.
2. Council will review and discuss 2022-2023 Tax Rate.
