AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission will convene jointly with the City Council
for the purpose of conducting a joint public hearing as set forth in item # 5 below.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the Covid-19 (coronavirus) state of emergency and consistent with
the Governor’s Order regarding modifications to the Texas Open Meetings Act (“TOMA”) and executive
orders the public may be limited or may not be admitted into the physical meeting location. All persons
in attendance, whether inside or outside the building, must wear a face masks at all times and must
observe minimum six-foot social distancing.

This is the citizen’s opportunity to make a presentation, ask questions of the City Council, or otherwise be heard at the City Council Meeting. No action will be taken on any matter raised by a citizen, but items
suggested for action may be placed on the agenda of a future meeting. Due to the numerous agenda
items and limited time for the Council Meeting, each citizen’s comments are limited to a total of three
minutes.
5. City Council & Planning & Zoning Commission: JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
Presentation, public hearing and discussion on a request initiated by Pecan Acres LLC to rezone a
67.5+ acre property from the agricultural (AG) zoning district to a Single-Family Residential (R-1) district.
The subject property is generally located on the South side of FM 2377 at Goodloe Lane, within the City
of Pecan Hill, Texas and also within Ellis County, Texas (legal description: 1039 S A & M G R R; 516 CF HORDESTY, # ECAD #191367).
6. Planning & Zoning Commission: New Business
Discussion and possible recommendation to the City Council on a request by Pecan Acres LLC to rezone a

1. Consideration and discussion on selecting a contractor(s) for the construction of building carport/garage budgeted.
