1. 1. City Council: Call to Order and Identification of a Quorum.

This is the citizen’s opportunity to make a presentation, ask questions of the City Council, or otherwise be heard at the City Council Meeting.  No action will be taken on any matter raised by a citizen, but items  suggested for action may be placed on the agenda of a future meeting.  Due to the numerous agenda items and limited time for the Council Meeting, each citizen’s comments are limited to a total of three minutes.

 

 

4. City Council Consent Agenda.

All items listed under the consent agenda are routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below.  There will be no separate discussion of these items.

If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered separately.

 

1. Approval of Minutes from previous meeting.

5. 5.   Workshop for 2022-2023 Tax Rate and Budget 2

 

 

            ACTION ITEMS

 

City Council Regular Agenda

   

6. 6. Consider and take possible action on approving and adopting 2022-2023 fiscal year budget and ORDINANCE 2022-04 adopting the budget.

 

 

7. Consider and take possible action on approving and adopting the voter approved tax rate of 0.264823/100 for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and ORDINANCE 2022-05 adopting the tax rate.

 

 

 

8.       Consider and take possible action on approving ORDINANCE 2022-03, a NEGOTIATED settlement between the Atmos cities steering committee (“ACSC”) and ATMOS ENERGY   CORP., mid-tex DIVISION regarding the company’s 2022 rate review mechanism filing.

 

9. Consider an act on changing the signature cards removing and replacing Ellen Hardin.

 

10.      Consider and take possible action on the contract between SPCA of Texas and Pecan Hill.

 

11. Marshal Smith Report.
